Coconut Cream Oatmeal Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut milk beverage (not canned)
  • 1 tbsp canned coconut cream (optional)
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients except coconut cream to a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened to your desired consistency.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in coconut cream.

  4. Adjust seasonings as desired and serve with berries.
