Coconut Chia Oats Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 1/4 cup coconut milk beverage (carton not can)
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Allow to cook and thicken for at least 3-5 minutes.

  3. Once at your desired consistency, pour into a bowl and serve.
