Cream of Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken fillet
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Garnish

  • Finely chopped parsley

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small 1 cm cubes

  2. In a pot, heat the butter, add the chicken, onion, and garlic, and stir the chicken for a few minutes until it dries out but does not change color

  3. In a bowl, place the milk, powdered milk, flour, cornstarch, ginger powder, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt, and use a hand whisk to mix the ingredients until well combined

  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken

  5. Continue stirring gently with a wooden spoon until it boils, then reduce heat and let it cook gently for 10 minutes, and you can add water or milk to achieve the desired thickness

  6. Place the soup in a serving dish, sprinkle a small amount of parsley, and serve
