Baked Tofu Marinated in Soy and Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2-3 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

Preparation

  1. Press the tofu by wrapping it in a clean towel or paper towels and placing a heavy object on top to release water, improving texture for a better bite and chew.

  2. Add all ingredients to a Tupperware container, seal it, and shake until the tofu is fully coated as desired.

  3. Place the coated tofu on a lined baking sheet.

  4. Bake in the oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden.

  5. Serve as desired, such as with noodles and veggies for a complete meal.
