Creamy Chicken Fettuccine Pasta

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken fillets, cut
  • 4 hot dogs, cut
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 medium sweet red bell pepper, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 medium sweet yellow bell pepper, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 medium sweet green bell pepper, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 cup liquid cream
  • 1 packet (250 grams) fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

Preparation

  1. In a thick skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add the chicken fillet and stir until cooked, then add paprika, cardamom, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oregano, basil and black pepper, stir to mix well.

  2. Add the hot dogs and stir, leave for a few minutes to cook, then remove from the skillet.

  3. To the same skillet, add the remaining oil, onion, garlic and stir for a few minutes.

  4. Add the milk and cream, let it cook until it reaches boiling point.

  5. Add the fettuccine, sweet peppers and olives, stir gently then leave for a few minutes for the pasta to cook and absorb most of the milk.

  6. Add the chicken mixture and stir to mix with the pasta.

  7. Sprinkle the cheese and parsley, serve the fettuccine immediately with more cheese.

Notes

  1. No need to boil the pasta before adding it.

  2. Ensure a small amount of white sauce remains with the pasta for better taste.
