Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Stir-Fry with Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 large pieces chicken fillet
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon crushed chili
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons corn oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup liquid cream
  • Rice with vermicelli, for serving

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken into thin sticks.

  2. Cut the mushrooms into slices.

  3. In a bowl, combine the chicken with oregano, basil, black pepper, crushed chili, and salt.

  4. In a wide pan, heat the corn oil and butter, add the chicken, and stir for several minutes. Then add the garlic and ginger, and stir for a few minutes.

  5. Add the mushrooms and onion, and stir to mix.

  6. Add the soy sauce.

  7. Add the cream.

  8. For serving, place the rice in a dish and put the chicken in the center of the rice.
