Chicken with Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 pieces chicken fillet
- 1 teaspoon chicken spices
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons corn oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon ginger, crushed
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 green onion stalks, chopped with leaves
- 1 cup broth
- 1 large lemon, sliced
Preparation
Spread some spices on the chicken, place the chicken fillet between two pieces of parchment paper, and pound it lightly to make it thinner.
Cut the fillet into desired size pieces.
Heat the oil in a wide skillet.
Coat the chicken in flour lightly, then place it in the oil and cook for a few minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
Flip the chicken and cook the other side for a few minutes until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
In the skillet, add butter, broth, garlic, ginger, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices, and green onions, and bring to a boil, then add the remaining broth while stirring to form a smooth sauce.
Return the chicken pieces to the lemon sauce and cook for a few more minutes until fully cooked, then serve.
