Pasta with Meat Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 500 grams ground meat
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 250 grams pasta
For serving
- Parmesan cheese
- Green onions
Preparation
Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat, add ground meat, onion, and garlic, and stir continuously until the meat changes color and its aroma rises; continue stirring until the meat becomes dry for a delicious taste.
Add salt, black pepper, oregano, and ground cardamom, and stir the meat to toast with the spices.
Optionally add rosemary leaves, then add bell pepper, pasta, tomato paste, and tomato juice; stir well, add 3 cups of water, cover the pot, and cook on high heat for 10 minutes.
Add more water if needed to adjust the sauce thickness, then transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with cheese, and serve immediately.
