Crispy Baked Tofu
Ingredients
- Crispy Baked Tofu = 1 block of extra firm tofu (pressed
- drained and cubed)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
- Sauce = 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp gochujang
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp all spice
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
Preparation
Combine cornstarch and garlic powder in a large container
Add in tofu, seal container and shake to evenly coat
Open container and add in soy sauce, seal again and shake to combine
Place coated tofu on a lined baking sheet and place in the oven at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until all edges are golden and crisp
Remove from oven and set aside
The thinly sliced white ends of 3 scallions, 1 tsp sesame seeds
Whisk all ingredients together and allow to sit for at least 10-15 minutes before using
