Crispy Baked Tofu

Ingredients

  • Crispy Baked Tofu = 1 block of extra firm tofu (pressed
  • drained and cubed)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
  • Sauce = 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp gochujang
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder

Preparation

  1. Combine cornstarch and garlic powder in a large container

  2. Add in tofu, seal container and shake to evenly coat

  3. Open container and add in soy sauce, seal again and shake to combine

  4. Place coated tofu on a lined baking sheet and place in the oven at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until all edges are golden and crisp

  5. Remove from oven and set aside

  6. The thinly sliced white ends of 3 scallions, 1 tsp sesame seeds

  7. Whisk all ingredients together and allow to sit for at least 10-15 minutes before using
