Homemade Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 100 g butter
  • 130 g sugar
  • 850 g flour
  • 5 dl milk
  • 1 egg

Filling

  • Butter
  • Ground cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients except butter to a baking machine and knead on low speed for 10 minutes.

  2. Add cold butter, cut into smaller cubes, while the machine is still mixing, and let it mix for another 15 minutes on medium speed.

  3. Leave the dough at room temperature to rise for about 1-2 hours.

  4. Flatten the dough with a rolling pin, spread the filling of butter and cinnamon on top, shape into buns, place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and let rise for another 30 minutes.

  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 200°C and enjoy.
