Meat-Free Shepherds Pie with Veg
Ingredients
- Morrisons meat-free mince
- Water
- 2 x Oxo vegetable stock cubes
- Black and white pepper, onion salt, garlic powder
- Tbsp Cornflour (1)
- Sarsons Gravy browning
- Marabel mash
- 30g Pilgrims Choice extra mature cheddar (hex A)
- Tender stem broccoli (s)
- Chantenay carrots (s)
Preparation
Preheat the grill.
In a large saucepan, cook the Morrisons meat-free mince over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
Dissolve the Oxo vegetable stock cubes in water and add to the pan.
Season with black and white pepper, onion salt, and garlic powder.
Add cornflour to the mixture to thicken it, stirring continuously.
Add a few drops of Sarsons Gravy browning to darken the mixture and stir.
Place the mixture in an ovenproof dish and top it with Marabel mash.
Sprinkle the Pilgrims Choice extra mature cheddar on top and grill for 6 minutes.
Boil the tender stem broccoli and Chantenay carrots, then pan-fry them.
