Simple Mince and Tatties Dish

Ingredients

  • Seasonal gold potatoes
  • Morrisons meat-free mince
  • Bisto original gravy granules (amount varies)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Oxo meat-free beef flavour stock cube
  • Sarsons gravy browning (optional)
  • Pilgrims Choice extra mature cheddar
  • Chilli flakes
  • Chopped parsley
  • Water (as needed for gravy)

Preparation

  1. Peel and quarter the potatoes

  2. Boil the potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes

  3. Cook the meat-free mince in a pan until browned

  4. Prepare the gravy by mixing Bisto granules with water and seasonings, then heat until thickened

  5. Add the cooked mince to the potatoes

  6. Pour the gravy over the mixture and stir to combine

  7. Serve topped with grated extra mature cheddar, chilli flakes, and chopped parsley
