Spiced Fries with Roasted Garlic Hummus

Ingredients

Spiced fries

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 2 yellow potatoes
  • 1-2 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 1-2 tbsp French fries spice mix

Roasted garlic hummus

  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt
  • cumin
  • paprika
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • some water

French fries spice mix

  • salt
  • onion
  • paprika
  • pepper
  • garlic
  • curry mix

Preparation

Spiced fries

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Cut the peeled potatoes into even strips as evenly as possible.

  3. Mix together the oil and spices in a bowl.

  4. Add the potatoes and toss with hands until evenly covered.

  5. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 50-60 minutes, stirring once or twice.

Roasted garlic hummus

  1. Roast 4 garlic cloves with a little oil until fragrant.

  2. Blend together 2 cups of chickpeas, 2 tablespoons of tahini, juice of 1 lemon, salt, cumin, paprika, the roasted garlic, and some water until smooth.
