Chocolate Chip Almond Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar (or 3/4 cup if you prefer sweeter)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Dry
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Add-ins
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup almond slices
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Beat butter and sugar together until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Fold in the almonds and chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough with a spoon and shape into balls.
Arrange the balls on a buttered baking tray with spacing between them.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden.
