Peanut Butter and Jelly Chocolate Squares
Ingredients
Base
- 2 cups of oats
- 1 cup of desiccated coconut
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 5 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 2 tbsp of honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp water
Middle
- Peanut butter
- Jam
Top
- 150g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation
Add all the base ingredients into a food processor and blitz until combined.
Line a square baking dish (8x8 inch) with baking paper and press the base mixture into it.
Spread a layer of peanut butter across the top, then spread a layer of jam on top of the peanut butter. (Spread as thick as you desire!)
Melt the chocolate and stir in the coconut oil, then pour over the top of the jam layer.
Leave to chill in the fridge for at least an hour until set.
Cut into squares and enjoy.
