Quick Baked Doughnuts with Maca and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- 200g plain flour
- 50g dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Maca powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of bicarbonate of soda
- 50ml rapeseed oil
- 220ml plant milk
- Sugar and cinnamon for coating
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a doughnut pan.
Measure all the dry ingredients into a bowl and stir well. Add the oil and milk and mix until smooth.
Spoon the mixture into doughnut moulds and bake for 10 minutes; this should yield about 9 doughnuts.
Remove from the tin and dip immediately into a bowl of sugar mixed with a little cinnamon.
Leave to cool on a wire rack or eat warm. Note: Rapeseed oil is great for baking.
