Quick Baked Doughnuts with Maca and Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • 200g plain flour
  • 50g dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Maca powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pinch of bicarbonate of soda
  • 50ml rapeseed oil
  • 220ml plant milk
  • Sugar and cinnamon for coating

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a doughnut pan.

  2. Measure all the dry ingredients into a bowl and stir well. Add the oil and milk and mix until smooth.

  3. Spoon the mixture into doughnut moulds and bake for 10 minutes; this should yield about 9 doughnuts.

  4. Remove from the tin and dip immediately into a bowl of sugar mixed with a little cinnamon.

  5. Leave to cool on a wire rack or eat warm. Note: Rapeseed oil is great for baking.
