Pineapple Cream Filling for Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple, finely chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 liter milk
- 2 egg yolks, strained
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Cook the pineapple and sugar over low heat until all the pineapple juice has evaporated. Set aside
Cook the sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, milk, egg yolks, and vanilla
Stir until thickened
Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool
