Crispy Three-Ingredient Hash Browns

Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot flour or corn starch
  • Sea salt

Preparation

  1. Peel and parboil the potatoes for 8 minutes.

  2. Drain and let them dry.

  3. Once cool, shred and combine with the egg and flour.

  4. Form into 8 patties and place on a baking sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Shallow fry in enough oil to cover halfway, or deep fry as preferred.

  6. Fry for 4 minutes per side.

  7. Place on a paper towel to drain excess grease and sprinkle with sea salt.

Tips

  1. Use avocado oil or a similar oil for frying.

  2. Serve with your favorite dip.
