Cranberry Chocolate Chip Scones
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar + a little extra for topping
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- up to 1/2 cup additional add-ins (optional)
- 1 tbsp melted butter (optional)
Preparation
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, add in heavy cream and mix well.
Dump dough onto floured board.
Knead 7-8 times.
Mold into a round and then cut 8 slices.
Place on greased baking sheet and add melted butter on top (optional) and sprinkle with more sugar.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
