Creamy Cheesecake Liqueur with Vanilla and Lemon Zest

Ingredients

  • 100 g vanilla pudding (refrigerated)
  • 125 g quark
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 30 g sugar
  • 75 ml milk
  • 50 g heavy cream
  • 50 ml vodka
  • 1 organic lemon
  • 1/4 vanilla bean

Preparation

  1. Weigh all the ingredients accurately

  2. Wash the lemon with hot water and dry it thoroughly

  3. Grate 1 teaspoon of lemon zest

  4. Split the vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds

  5. Combine the lemon zest, vanilla seeds, vanilla pudding, quark, vanilla sugar, sugar, milk, heavy cream, and vodka in a tall container

  6. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth

  7. Pour the mixture through a funnel into 300 ml bottles

  8. Chill the bottles in the refrigerator until ice cold

Tips

  1. Shake the bottle once before pouring, as the quark may settle over time

  2. Serve the liqueur chilled on its own, or as a sauce over vanilla ice cream or chocolate cake

  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
