Creamy Coconut Oats for Healthy Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1 banana
Preparation
Optionally chop the oats in a mini food processor for a creamier texture.
Mash or slice the banana as desired.
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Stir and cook for about 3 minutes until creamy, then remove from heat.
Top as desired with fruits and nuts such as persimmons, blackberries, pumpkin seeds, blueberries, and cocoa nibs.
