Easy 3-Ingredient Vegan Salted Caramel

Ingredients

  • 2 cups full fat coconut cream
  • 2 cups coconut sugar
  • Pinch of sea salt

Optional additions

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Vanilla to taste

Preparation

  1. In a pot on the stove, mix everything and consistently stir as it boils on medium heat for 35-45 minutes.

  2. Test the consistency along the way by dropping some into ice cold water; it is done when you can form a soft ball with your fingers.

  3. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil for added body and flavor if desired.

  4. Add vanilla at the end if desired.

  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and avoid contaminating the mixture with moisture or licked spoons.
