Salted Caramel Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 flax egg
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
  • 4 tbsp Botanica Health IMMUNE SUPPORTER protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup vegan salted caramel chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare a flax egg and set it aside to gel.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine coconut sugar, melted coconut oil, and vanilla with the flax egg. Beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy.

  4. Add oat flour, gluten-free oats, Botanica Health IMMUNE SUPPORTER protein powder, baking soda, and sea salt to the bowl. Mix well to combine.

  5. Fold in the sesame seeds and vegan salted caramel chips.

  6. Using your hands, mold the cookie dough into individual cookies and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  7. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

  8. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
