Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread

Ingredients

Dry

  • 100g cacao
  • 50g vegan protein
  • 50g crushed almonds
  • 150g organic spelt flour sifted
  • 100g coconut sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Wet

  • 3 1/2 bananas (~ 380g)
  • 200ml plant milk
  • 50 ml rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Other

  • a few walnuts
  • vegan chocolate

Preparation

  1. Smash the bananas with hot water and mash with a fork.

  2. Mix the smashed bananas with plant milk, rapeseed oil, and apple cider vinegar.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.

  5. Mix until everything is combined.

  6. Spread the dough in a form prepared with oil or baking paper.

  7. Top with walnuts and vegan chocolate.

  8. Bake for 60 to 90 minutes at 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat in a preheated oven.

  9. Let it cool down before enjoying.
