Simple Two-Ingredient Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 80g bar of your favorite chocolate
  • 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk (hardened, creamy part only, brought to room temperature)

Optional decorations

  • Cacao or cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  2. Gently stir in the coconut milk until combined.

  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 10 minutes until firm.

  4. Scoop the mixture into tablespoon-sized amounts and quickly roll into balls.

  5. Optionally, roll the balls in cacao powder or shaved chocolate to decorate.

Notes

  1. If the mixture curdles, stir in one or two tablespoons of cacao powder to make it smooth again.
