Vegan Banana and Chocolate Wrap

Ingredients

  • 3 cups roasted hazelnuts
  • 30 ml plant milk
  • Cacao powder (to taste)
  • 150 g medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Tortilla
  • Banana
  • Strawberries (optional)

Preparation

  1. Roast the hazelnuts in the oven at 180°C for around 15 minutes.

  2. Blend the roasted hazelnuts with a pinch of salt, vanilla extract, plant milk, cacao powder, and medjool dates in a high speed blender until the desired consistency is achieved.

  3. Take one tortilla and spread some of the Nutella onto one half.

  4. Cut a few slices of banana or strawberries and place them in the middle of the tortilla.

  5. Roll the tortilla into a wrap and enjoy.

Tips

  1. Adjust the amount of plant milk or use water from soaked dates to control the texture.

  2. You can use soaked or unsoaked dates for this recipe.
