Vegan Banana and Chocolate Wrap

Ingredients

Nutella

  • 3 cups roasted hazelnuts
  • 30ml plant milk
  • cacao powder (to taste)
  • 150g medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Wrap

  • tortilla
  • banana
  • strawberries (optional)

Preparation

Make vegan nutella

  1. Roast the hazelnuts in the oven at 180°C for around 15 minutes.

  2. Blend the roasted hazelnuts with a pinch of salt and a bit of vanilla extract with the other ingredients in a high speed blender until you get the consistency you desire.

Assemble wrap

  1. Take one tortilla, spread some of the Nutella onto one half of the tortilla and cut a few slices of banana or strawberries, and place them in the middle.

  2. Roll into a wrap and enjoy.

Tips

  1. The more liquid or plant milk you use the more liquid the texture will be.

  2. You can use the water from soaked dates instead of the milk as liquid.

  3. Dates can be used soaked or unsoaked for this recipe.
