Salted Caramel Cashew Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 4 frozen bananas
- 1 tablespoon cashew butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup plant milk
- 4 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons plant milk
- 1/3 cup cashews
Preparation
Freeze the cashews for 2 hours.
Blend the frozen bananas, cashew butter, vanilla extract, and 1/3 cup plant milk until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, mix the peanut butter, maple syrup, salt, and 2 tablespoons plant milk to make the caramel sauce.
Fold the frozen cashews into the ice cream base.
Swirl the caramel sauce into the mixture.
Freeze the combined mixture until firm.
