Banana and Chocolate Vegan Wrap

Ingredients

Nutella

  • 3 cups roasted hazelnuts
  • 30ml plant milk
  • lots of cacao powder
  • 150g medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Wrap

  • tortilla
  • banana
  • strawberries (optional)

Preparation

Making vegan nutella

  1. Roast the hazelnuts in the oven at 180°C for around 15 minutes.

  2. Blend the roasted hazelnuts with a pinch of salt, vanilla extract, plant milk, cacao powder, and dates in a high-speed blender until the desired consistency is achieved.

Assembling the wrap

  1. Take one tortilla and spread some of the Nutella onto one half.

  2. Cut a few slices of banana or strawberries and place them in the middle.

  3. Roll the tortilla into a wrap and enjoy.

Tips

  1. The more liquid or plant milk you use, the more liquid the texture of the Nutella will be.

  2. You can use the water from soaked dates instead of plant milk as liquid.

  3. You can use either soaked or unsoaked dates for this recipe.
