Quick Sweet Apple Flammkuchen with Cinnamon
Ingredients
Dough
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cube fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 125 ml milk
Topping
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 2 apples
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation
Combine all dough ingredients in a bowl and knead for 5 minutes to form a yeast dough
Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours
Divide the dough into three equal balls and roll out each ball on a floured work surface
Place each rolled dough base on a parchment-lined baking sheet
Spread crème fraîche over each dough base
Preheat the oven to 200°C conventional (180°C convection)
Peel the apples, remove the cores, and slice thinly
Arrange the apple slices fan-like on the crème fraîche
Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples
Bake for 15 minutes
Tips
The yeast dough can be prepared the evening before and left to rise in the refrigerator overnight
