Quick Sweet Apple Flammkuchen with Cinnamon

Ingredients

Dough

  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cube fresh yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 125 ml milk

Topping

  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 2 apples
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Combine all dough ingredients in a bowl and knead for 5 minutes to form a yeast dough

  2. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours

  3. Divide the dough into three equal balls and roll out each ball on a floured work surface

  4. Place each rolled dough base on a parchment-lined baking sheet

  5. Spread crème fraîche over each dough base

  6. Preheat the oven to 200°C conventional (180°C convection)

  7. Peel the apples, remove the cores, and slice thinly

  8. Arrange the apple slices fan-like on the crème fraîche

  9. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples

  10. Bake for 15 minutes
