Mini Knafeh with Fruits

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted ghee
  • 1 cup sliced pistachios
  • 1 cup cashew halves
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 250 grams knafeh dough
  • 1 cup qashata cheese
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 3 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 kiwi, sliced
  • 1 slice pineapple

For serving

  • Syrup or qater
  • Chocolate sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix knafeh dough with melted ghee until well coated.

  3. Layer the mixture in a baking dish and add qashata cheese and nuts on top.

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

  6. Top with sliced fruits.

  7. Drizzle with syrup and chocolate sauce before serving.
