Sweet and Savory Pancake Breakfast Plates
Ingredients
- 1 cup Birch Benders paleo pancake mix
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ghee for cooking
Toppings
- fried egg
- 1/2 avocado
- kale
- organic peanut butter
- chocolate chunks
- yogurt
- cinnamon
Preparation
Mix 1 cup of pancake mix and 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk with an immersion blender until smooth.
Cook the pancakes over low medium heat in ghee.
For the savory plate, prepare a fried egg, slice half an avocado, and add kale.
For the sweet plate, add peanut butter, chocolate chunks, yogurt, and sprinkle cinnamon.
Use a paleo-friendly nut butter instead of peanut butter if strictly following a paleo diet.
