Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast slices
  • Carrot slices
  • Eggs
  • Peas
  • Cooked American rice
  • Green onions
  • Garlic cloves (2-3, crushed)
  • Rice vinegar
  • Soy sauce (to taste)

Marinade

  • Soy sauce
  • Brown sugar
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Coriander
  • Sesame oil
  • Date syrup (optional)

Preparation

  1. Marinate chicken slices with soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, coriander, sesame oil, and optional date syrup for at least 30 minutes.

  2. In a skillet on high heat, sauté 2-3 crushed garlic cloves in sesame oil.

  3. Add the marinated chicken and stir, then add rice vinegar.

  4. Add carrot slices.

  5. Move the chicken and carrots to one side of the skillet and fry beaten eggs on the other side without any additions.

  6. Add peas.

  7. Add the cooked and washed American rice.

  8. Finally, add soy sauce to taste.

  9. Before serving, sprinkle generously with green onions.
