Apple and Cheddar Plant-Based Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
- Bread (your favorite)
- Plant-based butter
- 2 slices cheddar-style plant-based cheese
- 2 slices mozzarella-style plant-based cheese
- Thin slices green apple
- Red onion
Preparation
Spread plant-based butter on one side of each bread slice.
Cook red onion in plant-based butter for 5 minutes to caramelize.
Build the sandwich by adding two slices of cheddar and mozzarella style plant-based cheese, then top with thin slices of green apple and caramelized onions.
Heat a pan and place the sandwich buttered side down for 5 minutes over medium heat, covering with a lid to melt the cheese.
Flip the sandwich and cook the other side for 5 minutes.
