Fluffy and Chewy Sourdough French Toast
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of sourdough
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup canned coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- dashes of cinnamon
- sea salt
Preparation
Mix the egg, coconut milk, pumpkin purée, maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, and sea salt to create the batter.
Soak the sourdough pieces in the batter until completely soaked.
Pan sear both sides until slightly golden brown.
If the batter is insufficient for larger bread, add additional coconut milk.
