5-ingredient 15-minute Vegan Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup Cashew nuts
- 1 1/2 cup Dairy-free milk (I used almond milk)
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 tsp Salt
- Pepper to taste
Preparation
Soak cashew nuts in piping hot water for 5 minutes
Add soaked cashew, dairy-free milk, garlic, nutritional yeast, nutmeg, salt, and pepper to a high power blender and blend until smooth
You can serve the sauce right away. If you pour it on pasta and veggies and warm them together in a frying pan, the alfredo sauce will thicken
