5-ingredient 15-minute Vegan Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup Cashew nuts
  • 1 1/2 cup Dairy-free milk (I used almond milk)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Soak cashew nuts in piping hot water for 5 minutes

  2. Add soaked cashew, dairy-free milk, garlic, nutritional yeast, nutmeg, salt, and pepper to a high power blender and blend until smooth

  3. You can serve the sauce right away. If you pour it on pasta and veggies and warm them together in a frying pan, the alfredo sauce will thicken
