Tuna Sandwich with Avocado and Herbs

Ingredients

  • 1 large can tuna
  • 1 avocado
  • Dill, to taste
  • Coriander, to taste
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 medium pickled cucumber
  • Juice of 1 whole green lemon
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle
  • 1 tablespoon cottage cheese
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Bread of choice (such as toast, French, or sourdough)
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • Slice of cheese (such as Gouda)
  • Butter, optional
  • Lettuce leaves

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients lightly

  2. Stuff the mixture into the bread after spreading it with any desired hot sauce

  3. Add a slice of cheese

  4. Toast in a toaster

  5. Optionally, spread butter on the outside before toasting

  6. Open the sandwich and stuff with lettuce
