Pumpkin Pie Spiced Oats
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup steel cut oats (soaked overnight and then rinsed and drained before using)
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed (feel free to just use a tsp or none of not a fan)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- Pinch of salt
- 1 mashed banana
- 1 cup almond milk
Preparation
Add all contents to a sauce pan, stir together and bring to a simmer
Allow to thicken for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent oats from sticking to the bottom of the pan
Go for the fruit you enjoy! I went with frozen raspberries, blueberries, mulberries and pomegranate seeds
