Banana Bread Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1 tsp ground flax seed
  • 1 cup almond milk

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  2. Stir as it cooks and thickens, about 3-5 minutes

  3. Remove from stove top and serve immediately

  4. Add some fresh fruit or seeds when ready to serve
