Vegan Feta Cheese Alternative Using Tofu
Ingredients
- 60ml water
- 60ml apple cider vinegar
- 30ml lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp miso paste (optional)
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- chopped green parts of spring onions
- optional herbs like parsley or oregano
- 120g firm tofu
Preparation
Combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
Add the firm tofu to the marinade and let it marinate for at least overnight.
Use the marinated tofu as a vegan feta cheese substitute in dishes like Greek salad, pasta, sandwiches, or eat it alone.
