Quick Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
- 1 small red onion
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2-3 tsp sugar
Preparation
Cut the red onion into strips.
Place all ingredients in a jar or container.
Seal the jar and shake to coat and mix.
Place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes or longer to soften the onions.
Use as desired.
Tips
The pickled onions add a tangy flavor, especially when served on top of avocado.
