Quick Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 small red onion
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 tsp sugar

Preparation

  1. Cut the red onion into strips.

  2. Place all ingredients in a jar or container.

  3. Seal the jar and shake to coat and mix.

  4. Place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes or longer to soften the onions.

  5. Use as desired.

  1. The pickled onions add a tangy flavor, especially when served on top of avocado.
