Homemade Vegan Gluten-Free Cereal

Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten free flour OR spelt flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp himalayan salt
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil, coconut oil, or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.

  2. Whisk together all of your dry ingredients and then add in your wet ingredients; mix well, then let sit for just a few minutes.

  3. Once set, take 1/2 teaspoon of the mixture and mould into a ball — you can mould them into your desired size, but note that they will expand in the oven!

  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden on the edges.

  5. Remove from oven and let cool completely before adding to milk.
