The Best Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 2 cups non-dairy milk
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp maple or agave syrup
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of crushed peppermint candy cane (optional)
- Non-dairy whip cream (optional)
Preparation
Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat and whisk in the cocoa powder, sweetener, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
Top with non-dairy whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
