Vegan Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks
Ingredients
- 1 batch pizza dough *
- 2 tablespoon cooking oil like canola, avocado, or olive oil
- 3 tbsp melted vegan butter divided in half
- marinara sauce for dipping
Garlic parmesan seasoning
- 1/3 cup raw cashews
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
Preparation
Prepare the garlic parmesan seasoning by blending all seasoning ingredients together until fine
Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface
Cut the dough into breadstick shapes, such as 1-inch wide strips
Brush the breadsticks with cooking oil and half of the melted vegan butter
Sprinkle the garlic parmesan seasoning evenly over the breadsticks
Preheat oven to 200°C and bake the breadsticks until golden and crispy, about 15-20 minutes
Remove from oven and brush with the remaining melted vegan butter
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping
