Energizing Lemon Poppy Seed

Ingredients

  • ??1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 inch knob of ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 11/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or more to taste)
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 6 tbsp water (or more if needed)
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients except for the poppy seeds into a food processor or blender

  2. Process until smooth

  3. Taste - adjust seasonings and add more water if too tart

  4. Add poppy seeds
