Super Simple Green Tahini Dressing
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup @ohmega_nutbutters tahini
- a big bunch of coriander and parsley
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 clove garlic
- Squeeze of half a lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
Preparation
Blend all sauce ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
If the sauce is too runny, add a little more tahini.
If it’s too thick, add some more water.
Tahini tips
Always check the expiry date of tahini before using.
Taste tahini to ensure it's not rancid; it should be toasty and nutty with only slight bitterness.
Refrigerate opened tahini to prevent rancidity due to high omega 6 fats.
Stir tahini well before refrigerating as it becomes hard to mix when chilled.
