Homemade Hummus Dip with Tahini and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can chick peas
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

  1. In a blender place the chickpeas, tahini, salt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, water and blend.

  2. If the mixture appears too thick add extra water until you have a smooth consistency.

  3. Place hummus dip in a bowl and sprinkle paprika on top.

  4. Drizzle some olive oil on top then refrigerate.
