Homemade Oreo Ice Cream with Sauce
Ingredients
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
For decoration
- Chocolate biscuit fingers
Chocolate sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 150 grams chopped chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
In a small pot, heat the cream over medium heat, add the chopped chocolate and stir until it melts, add the vanilla and set aside.
Remove the cream from the Oreo cookies, then place the cookies in a food processor and process until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, place the cream, attach the whisk attachment, whip until stiff peaks form, add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, and whip until combined.
Add the cookie crumbs and stir to mix.
Line small Arabic coffee cups with plastic wrap, leaving the edges hanging out.
Distribute about 2 tablespoons of the cookie mixture into each cup, create a cavity, fill with vanilla ice cream, add more cookie mixture on top, press gently, and cover with plastic wrap.
Place the cups in the freezer until set.
Unmold the ice cream onto a serving plate and garnish with chocolate sauce and chocolate biscuit fingers.
