Chocolate Ice Cream Bars
Ingredients
- 2 cups liquid cream
- 3/4 cup sweetened milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Garnish
- 300 grams chocolate
- nuts
- colored candy
Preparation
Mix the liquid cream, sweetened milk, vanilla extract, and salt together until well combined.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to enhance flavor and texture.
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm, about 4-6 hours or overnight.
Once firm, shape the ice cream into bars or use molds for uniformity.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
Dip each ice cream bar into the melted chocolate, ensuring even coating.
Quickly sprinkle with nuts and colored candy before the chocolate sets.
Place the coated bars on a parchment-lined tray and return to the freezer until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes.
