Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 3 cups almond flour
- 1/3 cup jet black cocoa
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 quart vanilla ice-cream
Preparation
Stir together the almond flour and cocoa powder, then stir in the maple syrup and split this dough in half.
Line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper and press one half of the dough down into a thin layer.
Spread the thawed vanilla ice-cream over the dough layer and use a blender to soften it if needed.
Either freeze until the ice-cream has set before adding the second dough layer or press the dough onto a piece of parchment paper and carefully lay it over the ice-cream.
Freeze for at least 5 hours before cutting into slices.
